Assessment Framework for Pupils with complex needs
Description
This training session for SEND leaders will introduce Camden guidance on the use of an assessment framework for pupils with complex needs. The session will support schools in developing confidence in using PIVATS to identify and assess small-step progress, inform planning and strengthen provision for pupils working significantly below age-related expectations.
The session will include:
• An overview of the PIVATS framework and assessment process
• Guidance on using PIVATS to support target-setting and progress tracking
• Opportunities to discuss implementation within your own school context
