Choosing and learning songs

This session is inclusive of practitioners at every level. It will explore how to select appropriate repertoire, strategies to effectively teach new material and how to teach multiple songs over a term. This session will reference the progression of singing laid out in the model music curriculum and help participants prepare for the Camden Choirs’ Festival 2026. The session aims to build the participants’ confidence in selecting music and how to effectively teach this material in their classrooms.
