Attendance and Vulnerable Families

Description

Our training program is designed to support school leaders in addressing attendance challenges among vulnerable pupils and their families, with a particular focus on Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). The program provides practical strategies for understanding and supporting pupils who face significant barriers to attending school, fostering an inclusive and empathetic approach.
Participants will explore effective methods for engaging with families to identify and address the underlying causes of attendance issues. The training also covers tailored interventions for pupils experiencing EBSA, equipping attendance leads with tools to provide individualised support and encourage gradual reintegration into the school environment.
