ELSAs are Emotional Literacy Support Assistants, who support children with their mental health and wellbeing.
ELSAs can work with students when they are finding things difficult in school. This could be through individual or group work focussing on their emotions and mental health.
Trained ELSAs are professionals who can plan, deliver, and evaluate bespoke individual and group interventions.
Research and feedback demonstrate the positive impact ELSAs can have on the emotional wellbeing of students and their ability to manage better at school.
ELSA support and intervention can help you meet the needs of children with Education, Health and Care Plans.
