This CPD session develops practical approaches for using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning across the curriculum. It focuses on how technology can be used to scaffold learning, support literacy development, and strengthen formative assessment.

With an emphasis on inclusive practice, the session explores assistive technology and emerging AI tools as a means of increasing access, participation and independence, particularly for pupils with SEND, while avoiding over-reliance.

Participants will explore how to:

  • Use digital tools to scaffold learning and support pupil independence

  • Strengthen literacy through purposeful use of technology

  • Enhance formative assessment and respond to learning in real time

  • Apply assistive technology to remove barriers for all learners

  • Use AI tools in a safe, practical and classroom-focused way

Through practical examples and classroom-ready strategies, teachers will design approaches that can be implemented and trialled immediately, ensuring meaningful impact on pupil learning.
