Foundations of Inclusive Digital Pedagogy

This CPD session introduces digital pedagogy with a clear focus on high-quality teaching principles before the use of technology. It supports teachers to use digital tools purposefully to enhance learning, rather than drive it.  Grounded in the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the session explores how technology can be used to remove barriers and increase access for pupils with SEND, while improving learning experiences for all.

Participants will explore how to:

• Apply strong pedagogical principles to the use of technology.

• Use digital approaches to support accessibility and inclusion.

• Reduce barriers to learning through Universal Design for Learning. e

• Enhance engagement and participation for a diverse range of learners

Through practical examples and classroom-focused strategies, teachers will develop confidence in using technology in ways that are inclusive, effective and aligned to high-quality teaching practice.
