Rights Respecting Schools – an introduction for interested schools

Rights Respecting Schools (RRS) integrates the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) into a comprehensive, whole school approach aimed at cultivating a participative, inclusive and respectful environment.
Camden Learning is keen to support all schools to become Rights Respecting Schools and the Mayor of London is funding participation and access to the UNICEF resources and training until 2028.

This event aims to introduce UNICEF’s Rights Respecting Schools programme to interested school leaders in all phases. It will include:
- an introduction to the RRS programme
- sharing the positive impact of RRS in schools locally and further afield
- completion of the ‘Achieving Bronze’ training from UNICEF which prepares schools to implement the first stage of the award
- opportunities to ask questions about challenges and to share sources of additional support
