Reading, Writing and Maths Moderation - Year 4
Description
These one-day training sessions are designed to support teachers in working together to moderate their provision and assessment of reading, writing, and maths. Throughout the sessions, teachers will identify gaps in pupil learning and develop strategies to address them effectively. By the end of the training, educators will have a clearer understanding of end-of-year expectations for their year group, helping them feel more confident in assessing pupils' progress. Additionally, they will gain a deeper insight into what it means for a pupil to be a secure reader, writer, and mathematician, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across these core subjects.
