A key foundation for success outlined in BBS is for an ambitious inclusive Camden system that calls out and addresses inequalities and we are excited to announce that Orlene Badu will be running a series of three twilight sessions exploring ‘How to build our Antiracist classrooms’. Each session will explore a different aspect of how schools can be pro-active and practically meet equalities duties exploring: Challenging your biases; Deepening your racial literacy and Being Antiracist.
The sessions are FREE for Camden schools to attend. The sessions are open to ALL school staff who work with Camden young people with ALL schools encouraged to send at least one member of staff. Orlene is offering the opportunity to join each session remotely or in person at 5 Pancras Square.
All attendees will receive a copy of Orlene’s book ‘How to Build Your Antiracist Classroom’ in the third session.
