To support PE Leads in their role to ensure high quality provision:

• good practice in curriculum planning and mapping
• supporting colleagues to teach PE
• working effectively with specialist sports coaches
• good practice in establishing safe practice when teaching
• developing a system for assessing learning and ensuring progress for all children in PE
• making the link with healthy lifestyles and increasing participation in daily physical activity
• making best use of the PE premium and measuring the impact
